Justin Fields finally has a new No. 1 wide receiver.

In the team’s first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, Fields wasted no time welcoming his new weapon.

On the Bears’ first offensive drive of the game, Fields connected with DJ Moore on a 62-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7.

What was originally a simple screen pass, turned into Moore zooming all the way to the end zone. The blocking was phenomenal and Moore wasn’t even touched until crossing the goal line.

This is the type of play that Moore is capable of anytime he touches the ball. It’s clear that a receiver of Moore’s caliber will become a safety blanket for Fields.

Fields ended his day after completing three-of-three passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Fields also completed a 56-yard TD pass to RB Khalil Herbert.

It’s hard to imagine a much better start than that for Fields.
