6 winners and 1 loser from Bengals’ 35-13 second half blowout at Ravens: Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins trigger offensive explosion
It really felt like the beginning of the end for the Bengals when they went into the locker room after the second quarter finished. Cincinnati then turned a 13-0 deficit into a 35-point 2nd half and allowing zero points from Tyler Huntley and Co.
The Cincinnati Bengals looked like they were still on their bye week after two quarters against the Baltimore Ravens. A highly anticipated matchup out of the bye week was looking very bleak entering the half.
No one was ready for what the next two quarters had in store, except the Bengals apparently. An incredible second half transformation sparked a convincing 35-13 victory at M&T Bank Stadium.

Here are the winners and losers from the Bengals’ fourth win of the year.
Winners from Bengals’ 35-13 win over Ravens in NFL Week 7
Tee Higgins
Like the rest of the offense, Tee Higgins was nullified in the first half only to find life in the second half. He finished with six receptions for 148 yards and the go ahead touchdown. His 44-yard reception in the fourth quarter felt like one of many nails in the coffin for Baltimore.
Joe Burrow
Jesse Minter’s defense got the best of Joe Burrow in the first half, but Burrow found his groove after coming out of the locker room. He found completions on all levels of the field, amassing 292 yards and four touchdowns through the air. He has thrown for four touchdowns in back-to-back games. Expect to see him in contention for a weekly award, and firmly in the early MVP race.
Boye Mafe
Once again, Cincinnati’s past rush followed behind Boye Mafe. The most expensive free agent of the Bengals’ offseason had 1.5 sacks and a several more pressures on Huntley. He continues a very impressive debut season in Cincy.
Cashius Howell
Shout out to the rookie for his first career sack! Cashius Howell was able to trip up Huntley on a third down to get the first sack of what hopes to be a long and productive career for the Bengals.
Offensive line
Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr, and his teammates new Trey Hendrickson was coming to attack them for the first time. Hendrickson was mostly a non-factor and could not finish at Burrow. Brown had a quality game against him, and the rest of the line protected Burrow well.
Zac Taylor
He was absolutely going to be in the losers category if this post was published two hours ago. I’m not sure what Zac Taylor said at the half, but his adjustments need to be studied profusely by every coach. You simply don’t see 35-0 second halves very often. Credit to the head coach for getting them back on track.

Dohnte Meyers
Dohnte Meyers dropped a pass and was held without a reception all game. Burrow overthrew him in the end zone for what could’ve been his first TD. Meyers also fumbled a return, but recovered it before the Ravens could jump on it.
