Kentrel Bullock Player Profile
Age: 24
Year: Rookie
Position: Running back
College: South Alabama
Jersey Number: 31
Kentrel Bullock was signed as a UDFA by the Bengals following the 2026 NFL Draft. Bullock spent six years in college, playing three years at Mississippi (2020-22) and then three years at South Alabama (2023-25). He barely saw the field on offense in his first two years and was exclusively a special teamer for his original team as a true junior. He transferred to South Alabama in search for more playing time.
The Jaguars put Bullock to use right away as he rushed for 448 yards and four touchdowns on 83 carries in 2023. He took over as a starter in 2024 and put together his best year in 2025, rushing for 1,085 yards and 14 touchdowns on a Sun Belt-most 218 carries. He was First Team All-Sun Belt that season.
Contract details
Bullock signed a three-year, $3,115,000 deal with the Bengals as he was classified as a college free agent. His base salary for 2026 is the minimum $885,000. He’s also getting $15,000 as a signing bonus. His cash figure for the year is $900,000, and his salary cap hit will be $890,000.
Roster outlook
Bullock is one of two undrafted RBs signed by Cincinnati this offseason, joining Jamal Haynes in the room. The Bengals may cut more at the position than keep, but with both Chase Brown and Samaje Perine entering contract years, keeping a young player with a cheap multi-year deal is entirely possible.
The preseason is the ultimate showcase for guys like Bullock. He can pop off in late-game situations surrounded by reserves as the offense tries to run the clock out and make a great impression. He just may be at the mercy of needing to keep more players at other positions.
Roster odds: 10%
