Cleveland Browns have a trend working for them that shows they may just move on from Wild Card weekend.
It is the Browns traveling to take on rookie QB C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. Cleveland on the other hand, will be starting veteran QB Joe Flacco, who has repeatedly got it done in this round of the playoffs.
In his career, Flacco is 5-0 in Wild Card games and never lost a single one while with the Baltimore Ravens. Overall in his playoff career, Flacco has a record of 10-5.
Flacco has not played in a playoff game since 2015 when the Ravens faced the New England Patriots in the divisional round. Now at 38 years old, Flacco is back in the playoffs with Cleveland unexpectedly.
Cleveland’s success in the playoffs is going to ride largely on their defense and how well Flacco plays. Since joining the Browns over a month ago, Flacco has ignited the passing offense and leads the league in passing since joining Cleveland.
Flacco is slinging it for over 320 yards a game passing and has 13 touchdown passes in his five starts.
If the trend over Flacco’s career doesn’t switch up now at the back end of his career, your Browns will be playing two weeks from now.
