The Cleveland Browns’ decision to overhaul the wide receiver room in the 2026 NFL Draft is looking like a great one. Through seven weeks, Cleveland has two rookie wide receivers with more than 300 receiving yards apiece. Week 7 also brought a breakout performance from first-round pick KC Concepcion.

Concepcion went off in the Browns’ 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans and finished with 152 total yards. He caught eight passes for 129 receiving yards, which gave the rookie the first 100-yard game of his career.

KC Concepcion had his breakout game against the Titans

Going into the game, Concepcion’s best performance was five catches for 64 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers a few weeks ago. He doubled that receiving total against Tennessee, and he did the majority of his damage in the first half.

The performance stood out because it wasn’t built on one big play. Concepcion put together multiple explosive plays against the Titans. His long was a 32-yard catch, and he turned a short reception into a big gain by essentially running past the Tennessee defense up the middle of the field.

Concepcion looks like a Zay Flowers type of player for Todd Monken to use in this offense. His Week 7 performance against the Titans backed that up, and it gave Cleveland a look at what he can be when he’s a focal point.

Browns have two rookie wide receivers producing

Concepcion isn’t the only rookie making noise in Cleveland. Denzel Boston already had a big game this season in the Week 2 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he went off for five catches and 95 yards.

With both rookies over 300 receiving yards, the Browns have two wide receivers who look like potential future stars. That’s a strong early return on the plan to rebuild the position through the draft, and both players are still getting comfortable im the offense.

Concepcion kept it real after the win

After the game, Concepcion didn’t hold back about the confidence he carries into every matchup. That mindset could be good news for what’s coming next for the Browns.

“I enter every week expecting to have a game like this,” Concepcion said. “This week it was my breakout game, so I just can’t wait to keep stacking weeks.”

If Concepcion can become a bigger part of the offense on a consistent basis, it’s going to open things up for a unit coming off its best game of the season. Cleveland put up 491 total yards against Tennessee, and 308 of those yards came through the air.

Additionally, it was Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson’s first 300-yard passing game in a Browns uniform. Having two young receivers capable of taking over a game gives Watson more options, and it makes the passing attack harder to defend.

Concepcion clearly has a lot of confidence in the player he is. Now it’s up to him to keep stacking these types of games, and the coming weeks will show whether Week 7 was the start of something bigger for the rookie.
