It's been a while since the glory days of the Denver Broncos winning the Super Bowl in 2015. Since then, they have had just one winning season and it was the very next year.
It's safe to say the Broncos have been in the dark for a while. I mean, just look at last season. To make things even more sad, another member of that Super Bowl team is retiring.
Malik Jackson, a former Pro Bowl defensive tackle and Super Bowl champ, announced on Friday that he will be retiring.
"I'm not leaving the couch right now," Jackson said on Good Morning Football. "I am happy at home. Unless it was an LA team with the right amount of money and not playing. I would be ok with that. No playing, no practicing. That was the goal; 10-12 years was the goal."
You're sad to see another member of that team go, but at the same time, you are happy to see him retire and be away from a sport that is so physical and violent.
