If not for a second half blizzard and an injury to quarterback Bo Nix, the Denver Broncos probably would’ve played the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.

Instead, the New England Patriots were able to hold on to a narrow lead against the Broncos in the AFC Championship game last January to advance to the Super Bowl.

New England then lost 29-13 to Seattle.

Broncos star pass rusher Nik Bonitto is ready to see the Patriots again

The Broncos will play the Patriots in Foxborough in 2026, and Denver star pass rusher Nik Bonitto is ready for it.

Bonitto smiled while speaking to reporters at a special shopping spree with Boys and Girls Club graduates when asked if he’s looking forward to playing the Patriots this fall.

“Most definitely,” said Bonitto while trying not to smile too much.

The Patriots and the Broncos are expected to be two of the best teams in the AFC in 2026.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if they meet again in the playoffs, too.
