The Denver Broncos haven’t made any big moves during the first week of NFL free agency.

Denver, in fact, hasn’t signed an outside free agent, opting instead to re-sign several of their in-house pending free agents.

The offseason, however, is still young. There are still plenty of “big-time” moves that can be made.

Former Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, in fact, hinted this week that a big move is on the way for Denver.

Aqib Talib says the Broncos will add an explosive player on offense

Talib strongly suggested on The Arena: Gridiron this week that Denver will add a major offensive weapon this offseason.

The former Bronco also predicted that Denver will play in the Super Bowl this season.

“We will have an offensive, new explosion player on offense,” said Talib. “Just know that. Just remember I told you that.”

“We will have one, though,” added Talib. “Just trust me on that. We will have one.”

The most likely target for Denver is Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown, who has been heavily involved in trade rumors this offseason.

NFL insider Brian Baldinger noted last week that the Broncos have shown interest in trading for Brown.

“I’ll be interested to see if the price drops on AJ Brown, if that’s still a possibility,” said Baldinger to DNVR Sports. “I know that there’s interest there on both sides. Maybe tepid, but some interest — at least enough to inquire to what the asking price is. (Eagles GM) Howie Roseman hasn’t really budged off of what he wants.”

Brown would certainly qualify as a splash addition for the Broncos, but it seems clear that Philadelphia isn’t going to just give him away. The Eagles appear to be standing firm on their asking price.
