Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts lost their Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

While they weren't able to come away with the win, Anthony Richardson did catch the eye of Rams head coach and offensive mastermind Sean McVay.

Rams head coach Sean McVay spoke about his team's overtime win over the Colts in Week 4 on "The Coach McVay Show." While discussing his star defender, Aaron Donald, he took the time to give his thoughts about rookie QB Anthony Richardson.

"A freaking stud in Anthony Richardson, that guy's a problem. I think Shane Steichen and those guys do an excellent job."

– Rams Head Coach Sean McVay.

For a head coach of McVay's stature to share, this type of praise unprompted is something that Richardson has to feel honored to hear. McVay got to see firsthand Richardson's ability as he almost witnessed his first comeback in the NFL at his own expense.
