The Jacksonville Jaguars' future has been called into question for years now as many speculated their future was at a different place with forecasts ranging from different cities, and states, and yes, even London.

The latest Jaguars news is a major step toward ending all of that. On Tuesday, the franchise unveiled plans for their so-called Stadium of the Future, "a project nearly three years in the making to transform Downtown Jacksonville and secure NFL football in Northeast Florida well into the future."

The first look at the stadium renderings will send chills down the spines of every Jaguars fan. But the details make it even better.

1st DownTown Jacksonville, the platform which announced the plans, revealed some exciting details about the project worth highlighting. The stadium is expected to seat a base capacity of 62,000 fans with the potential for more for other events like collegiate games or concerts.

The vision for the stadium includes features very unique to Jacksonville, most notably a "network of biking and walking trails, parklands, greenways, beaches, and marshes."

The official reveal also states that "Fans will enter through a subtropical Floridian park, leading them to the main concourse. The concourse is elevated 30 feet above the ground, offering expansive views of Downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River."

One of the biggest features of the Stadium is the fact that it will prioritize sustainability with an innovative passive cooling system that will protect fans from the weather thanks to the design of the stadium itself.

"The open-air venue features a large shade canopy that reduces heat retention by more than 70 percent, and lowers temperatures 10 to 15 degrees," reveals 1st DownTown Jacksonville.

Besides the fact that the visuals of the future venue are absolutely gorgeous and stunning, the reveal will allow Jaguars fans to let out a huge sigh of relief. Likely or not, rumors about the team leaving town couldn't have been easy to handle all these years.

The unveiling of the team's and city's vision of the future provides a tangible goal for everyone to work toward. It's a big-time step that reinforces that the Jaguars aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
