See who’s in and who’s out for the Chiefs and Giants on Sunday Night Football.
The Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants have released their inactive players lists for their Week 3 primetime matchup at MetLife Stadium.
Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy, defensive end Mike Danna and cornerback Kristian Fulton have already been ruled out for the game, as has Giants linebacker Darius Muasau. Let’s take a look at each team’s full lists.
Chiefs inactive players
- WR Xavier Worthy
- DE Mike Danna
- CB Kristian Fulton
- C/G Hunter Nourzad
- RB Elijah Mitchell
- TE Jared Wiley
Observations:
- 2025 second-round draft pick WR Jalen Royals will make his regular season debut against the Giants. He has been sidelined with knee tendinitis since Week 2 of the preseason.
- With Danna and Fulton out, look for plenty of reps from rookie DE Ashton Gillotte and CB Nohl Williams.
Giants inactive players
- LB Darius Muasau
- LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles
- DL Rakeem Nuñez-Roches
- DL Chauncey Golston
- OL Evan Neal
- TE Thomas Fidone II
- QB Jameis Winston
Observations:
- Let tackle Andrew Thomas is active and will play for the first time this season against the Chiefs. He was a gametime decision with a foot injury.
- The Giants are down several key players on defense, providing a golden opportunity for the struggling Chiefs’ offense to have a breakout game.
