KANSAS CITYPerNFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed became a victim of gun violence on Friday after his vehicle damaged by multiple gun shots.

Sneed was not injured during the shooting.

Sneed's agent, Saffarah Lawson, released a statement concerning the situation. According to Lawson's statement, the former Bulldog was visiting his hometown of Minden, Louisiana when the event occurred. The third-year pro was also briefly questioned and released without incident.

Per Garafolo, the Chiefs are aware of the incident and currently gathering information. They did not comment on the shooting at the time of inquiry.
