Missouri Tigers prospect garnering significant interest from the Chiefs following local pro day in Kansas City

In case you missed it, the Chiefs held their annual local pro day in Kansas City earlier week, hosting 53 area prospects to participate.
Among those in attendance was Missouri Tigers offensive guard Cam'Ron Johnson. According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, the Chiefs have shown a lot of interest in Johnson, both before and after the local pro day in K.C.
A to Z Sports Conference Editor Charles Goldman has the overview on Johnson:
"Listed at 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, Johnson is a Houston, Texas native who will represent the University of Missouri at the Chiefs' local pro day. Johnson spent two seasons at the University of Houston before transferring to Mizzou for the 2023 and 2024 college football seasons. In his two seasons with the Tigers, Johnson allowed four sacks and 28 total pressures (per PFF) while starting 24 games at right guard."
K.C could definitely use some depth at guard, and although Johnson played on the right side during his time at Mizzou, he played on the left while at Houston. That is a major plus for Johnson as the Chiefs highly value versatility with their offensive linemen.
He is as well-seasoned of a prospect as you can find, with six years of college ball under his belt. That experience could be an advantage for Johnson in getting a roster spot or place on the practice squad. He may go undrafted, but given that the Chiefs have three picks in the seventh round, they could use one on him.
As of now, second-year OL Kingsley Suamataia appears to have the inside track on the starting LG job. However, he's still trying to learn the position after playing tackle in college and during his rookie year in K.C. Behind him is Mike Caliendo, who started six games at LG last year, and 2024 seventh-round pick C.J. Hanson.
