We asked AI to write Taylor Swift's break up song about Travis Kelce

I don't have anything against Taylor Swift. To be honest, I don't know too much of her catalog outside of the huge hits. To be even more honest, that moment in The Bear where Richie is driving around singing Taylor Swift might be my favorite moment of the entire series and it oddly gives me goosebumps every time I see it.

One thing I do know about Taylor Swift, bedsides the fact that my wife is a fan, is that she has a history of writing songs about her high profile exes. It's not just one song, there's a lot of them. There's one about Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Harry Styles and a few others that may or may not be famous.

I hope that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Swift have a long and fruitful relationship. I truly do. I'm a hopeless romantic and I just want everyone to be married and stuff. That's just me.

Still, I like to have fun. If this relationship doesn't work out, you have to wonder if there will be a song about it. I'm no song writer. I've been told that I have the voice of an angel and that I should try out for American Idol, but I'm no song writer. By the way, nobody has told me that and I'm pretty bad.

Anyways, I thought it might be fun to ask Skynet, I mean AI, to help me write a song. I went to Chat GPT and ask them to write a Taylor Swift breakup song about Travis Kelce. This is what I got back:

(Verse 1)

We were dancing in the moonlight, stars above so bright, But now the darkness fills the room, it's just not right, You were my touchdown, my perfect catch, But now it's time to say goodbye, put on a brave match.

(Chorus)

Oh Travis, you were my game day thrill, But love's a game, and we've had our fill, I'm taking my heart back, no more pain to feel, This breakup song, it's all too real.

(Verse 2)

You wore your jersey, I wore my smile, But behind the scenes, we were running out of style, Late-night texts and empty promises we'd make, But it's time to admit our love was a big mistake.

(Chorus)

Oh Travis, you were my game day thrill, But love's a game, and we've had our fill, I'm taking my heart back, no more pain to feel, This breakup song, it's all too real.

(Bridge)

I'll remember the touchdowns, the laughter, and the cheer, But now it's time to dry my eyes and face the fear, Of a world without you, it's a scary place, But I'll find my strength, find my grace.

(Verse 3)

I'll pick up the pieces, mend my broken heart, Though it's tough right now, I'll make a brand-new start, No more sideline kisses, no more secret looks, It's time to close the playbook, close the chapter, close the books.

(Chorus)

Oh Travis, you were my game day thrill, But love's a game, and we've had our fill, I'm taking my heart back, no more pain to feel, This breakup song, it's all too real.

(Outro)

So here's to the memories, the love we once knew, I'll find a new path, and I hope you do too, Goodbye, Travis, it's time to heal, This is the end of our Taylor Swift breakup deal.

It's hard not to laugh hysterically about this. Especially the "Oh Travis, you were my game day thrill" part. That and "it's time to close the playbook." I'm crying over here.

Once again, I hope they stay together and work out. I have nothing but love for Taylor. Please don't come after me Swifties. I'm with you, sort of.
