The Las Vegas Raiders recently traded away backup quarterback Nick Mullens to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2024 seventh-round pick, as reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

This was Mullen's first and only year with the Raiders. He played in three preseason games in the silver and black. In those games, he accumulated a total of 205 passing yards and no touchdowns.

It was clear that Stidham was going to be the backup, as he knows the offense almost better than anyone. Rookie Chase Garbers is now the clear-cut third-team quarterback.

Now, Minnesota has another backup quarterback behind Kirk Cousins, and the Raiders get some draft capital.
