Good news for the Miami Dolphins and head coach Jeff Hafley as their 2026 training camp gets rolling.
The Miami Dolphins are officially back. New head coach Jeff Hafley took to the podium on Tuesday morning to welcome back the South Florida press. Veterans were in the building as of this morning — one week behind the rookies.
They’re not wasting any time, either. Amid the series of comments and insights Hafley shared? Some good news about his team’s readiness to take the field and compete. The Dolphins have a handful of players who are on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list — but all other attendees from the Dolphins’ roster participated in and passed the team’s initial conditioning test. It’s officially game on in South Florida.

Ultimately, this is a little thing. It’s not some earth-shattering development in any way. But there’s a saying that I tend to subscribe to more and more as I get older. You’ve probably heard it, too. “How you do anything is how you do everything.” The little details matter. The small intricacies of a day-to-day eventually end up becoming the foundation that your whole house is built on.
So good. Great, even! I’m glad to hear these players came into Miami Dolphins training camp chomping at the bit and ready to rock and roll. Hafley, for what it’s worth, was grinning ear-to-ear when he dropped that nugget, too.
Where this team goes from here will all be apart of the 2026 journey. First and foremost, let’s be thankful that football is back.
