Jon-Eric Sullivan is reportedly exploring another trade opportunity on Friday for the Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins executed two trades on Thursday night. Sully may be coming back for more early on Friday.
The Miami Dolphins have had a chance to come home after two picks on Thursday night. It’s a chance to re-stack and review the draft board before getting ready to do it all again tonight. And, per a recent report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Miami Dolphins may not have to wait as long as they’re currently scheduled to make their first pick tonight.
Miami is, reportedly, among the many teams exploring the chance to trade up.
Miami Dolphins reportedly among the teams exploring a trade up in the early 2nd round
“Among other teams that are calling around, not just at 33 (to the San Francisco 49ers), but for other picks at the top of Round 2 include the Dolphins, the Saints have made calls, the Browns, and the Jaguars, who of course did not have a pick on night one.”

So this is fascinating. Plenty of 2026 NFL Draft prospects that the Miami Dolphins hosted on draft visits escaped the first round. So while the board is still favorable for the pick at No. 43, some of the top prospects left may be out of reach.
Maybe there’s one player that general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan feels he needs to have. If so, it may be time to go from working the phones to getting a deal in place. Miami, of course, has plenty of draft capital to manipulate the board. The Dolphins are scheduled to make 11 draft selections in the next 24 hours in Rounds 2-7.
Notable names that could fit Miami and were tied to pre-draft visits with the Dolphins include Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston,Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Missouri edge defender Zion Young, Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst, Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller, LSU safety AJ Haulcy, and more. Keep your heads on a swivel gang, this could turn quickly tonight.
