Minnesota Vikings reveal Rivalries uniform, giving them their third alternate jersey in four years
The Minnesota Vikings haven’t had a full uniform rebrand since 2013, but they have another new alternate jersey.
Over the last four seasons, the Minnesota Vikings have unveiled multiple alternate jerseys.
In 2023, they unveiled the Vikings Classic, which is a modernized version of what they wore in both the 1960s and 1990s. Then, in 2024, they unveiled the Winter Warrior jersey that they wear once each December with their Winter Whiteout theme.
On Tuesday, they dropped their next uniform, which is their version in the rivalries series.

At 9:00 A.M. CT, the Vikings, along with the rest of the NFC North and AFC South, unveiled their jersey, and it’s very cool.
Let’s start with the theme. It’s obviously Norse-themed, from the font to the braid on both shoulders, to the pants and helmet. The Nordic knot style is very cool, and on brand for what the Vikings are.
The most intrigue here is going to be with the helmet. It’s the first time the Vikings have had a gold facemask before, usually having either a white, gray, or purple one. The gold is a great complement to the deep purple the jerseys are. The numbers being an off-white also work really well to bring the entire jersey together.
The coolest element of the entire uniform is the front of the helmet. At the front of the crown where you would often see the brand, Riddell, they have a word written in Old Norse. That word is skol, tying everything together.
It’s a really nice piece of work the Vikings have made happen here, bringing in Norse mythology to the uniforms.
