History has a chance to repeat itself in a unique way if the 49ers can win the Super Bowl vs. Chiefs

Time is a circle that often repeats itself many folks believe and that soon will be on display in the NFL.
Back in 1994, 1997, and 1998, Mike Shanahan and Ed McCaffrey won three Super Bowls together. The first was with the San Francisco 49ers, then the final two came with the Denver Broncos.
In the Super Bowl that is less than two weeks away, the 49ers can make history repeat itself with a win. Mike and Ed’s sons both are a vital part of the 49ers. Christian McCaffrey is up for Offensive Player of the Year and Kyle Shanahan is perhaps the best offensive mind in the NFL.
If the two can come together and help the 49ers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, they will have won a Super Bowl with the same franchise that their fathers did about three decades ago. It’ll be the first Super Bowl win for the 49ers since the 1995 season.
Beating the Chiefs will be no easy task and the fingerprints of McCaffrey and Shanahan are going to need to be all over the game plan to do so.
It isn’t often that you see bloodlines meet down the road with the same franchise. This year’s Super Bowl should be a brawl with everything on the line. For San Francisco, it is a chance to do something special not only for the head coach and running back but to end a Lombardi drought.
