Jalen Hurts’ right shoulder injury has been a topic of conversation ever since he sprained it in the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 15 win over the Chicago Bears. However, Hurts is still dealing with discomfort in his shoulder in Saturday night’s NFC Divisional Round matchup with the New York Giants.
Prior to the game, Hurts informed Fox’s sideline reporter Pam Oliver that his shoulder is still bothering him.
“I am nowhere near 100 percent, but I just gotta go out there and get it done,” Hurts told Oliver.

This chart shows his IRC (Injury Risk – the lower the number the better) and HPF (Health Performance Factor aka projected performance – the higher the better).

To make matter worse, Hurts relayed to Oliver on Friday that he is dealing with an illness as well.
Though Philadelphia might not need him at full speed to beat the Giants, knowing that Hurts’ shoulder is still a ways away from being healed is concerning for the team’s Super Bowl chances.
