Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles saw what was an undefeated streak end on Monday.

But that didn’t stop former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marcus Spears from showing the Eagles’ star quarterback with praise on ESPN’s Get Up:

There is no one, and I mean no one in this league, as far as young quarterbacks, that you want leading the other 10 on the football field. From his mentality, his psyche … Jalen Hurts does not blink. He will keep command.”

Even Skip Bayless is also all the way in on Hurts despite him being a die-hard Cowboys truther.

“He’s changed life in Philadelphia … right now the most valuable player [over Patrick Mahomes] is Jalen Hurts … How much blame do you put on Jalen Hurts for (Monday) night? I put zero.”

Philadelphia forked over four turnovers in Monday’s 32-21 loss to the Washington Commanders, which was plenty for a team that hadn’t forked the ball over a lot in the first eight games.

“We started 8-0 together, we lost this game together, we’re going to move on together,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said.

Next, the Eagles will take the field again Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts and their new interim coach Jeff Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
