Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had an unreal Monday Night Football performance. The Minnesota Vikings were no match for the QB and the Eagles’ offense. Hurts became the first player in NFL history to accomplish a statistical achievement.

The feat shows the duality of skills from Hurts. The Eagles quarterback has shown growth as a passer so far this season, and he has always been an elite runner. Hurts has become a very difficult talent to defend for the Eagles.

Last season, Hurts caught flak for a lack of downfield passing. He wasn’t finding success with it, and he wasn’t taking enough chances at it. This year, that isn’t the case. With new weapon A.J. Brown as well as Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, the Eagles have given him plenty of great options.

Not to mention, he is playing behind arguably the best, most consistent offensive line in the NFL. The Eagles are giving Hurts time, and he is taking advantage. It will be interesting to see how defenses adjust against Hurts in the coming weeks.

His performances so far have been both historic and exciting for fans of the Eagles.
