Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts got off to a hot start on Friday night in the team’s preseason opener against the New York Jets.

Hurts was 6-for-6 for 80 yards and a touchdown on the Eagles’ opening drive.

You can’t ask for much more than that if you’re a Philly fan. That’s as good as it gets on a preseason game-opening drive.

New York Jets linebacker Quincy Williams apparently didn’t enjoy Hurts’ perfect opening drive, because later in the game he delivered a vicious cheap shot to the former Alabama quarterback.

Check it out:

Philly head coach Nick Sirianni was quick to voice his displeasure with the hit.

The good news is that Hurts appeared to be ok after the hit from Williams.
