The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled a ton on offense through the first six weeks of the 2022 season and a lot of the blame is rightfully placed on the offensive line.

And a lot of that blame has been pinned on rookie left guard Luke Goedeke, who has struggled a lot, himself.

Goedeke's struggles have been so bad, many have wondered whether or not the Buccaneers should bench him heading into the Week 7 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Well, it appears as if the Buccaneers decided to do just that before their third drive of the game. Goedeke was struggling, again, during the course of the first two drives because the Panthers were targeting him. Said targeting killed the Buccaneers' second drive because the offense couldn't get set in time to execute the play-call from Byron Leftwich.

Per a source at the game, Goedeke was seen on the bench and he was not being looked at by trainers. Therefore, it's safe to assume that he was in fact benched.

However, we won't receive official confirmation until after the game.
