Seahawks land Arizona star WR Tetairoa McMillan in a new mock draft
"The Seahawks offense got quite the makeover this offseason with Geno Smith and DK Metcalf out and Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp in. I don't think Kupp's addition should deter the Seahawks from drafting a WR though. Especially if Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan is on the board, who I believe would complement Jaxson Smith-Njgiba perfectly."

Losing Metcalf hurts, but the Seahawks have high hopes that Jaxson Smith-Njigba will take a big step this season with Darnold at QB. If they want to give him everything he needs to do so though, taking a WR to take some of the load off his plate in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Of the top WRs in this class, I think there are multiple players that have similar skill sets to Smith-Njigba and, therefore, likely not players the Seahawks' would look to add.
The best fit in the class to complement Smith-Njigba is Ariona's Tetairoa McMillan. He was one of the best 50-50 ball WRs in college this past year, and his 6'5" frame will make him a walking mismatch for many corners. The Seahawks WR room is going to look different without Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the field. But I don't think fans would have a hard time adjusting if the trio for 2025 was Smith-Njigba, Kupp, and McMillan.
