If he does sign elsewhere, the Colts will need to find a new starting free safety this offseason. There are multiple solid options they should consider in free agency, one of which previously played for an AFC South rival.
Colts could target Jaguars safety Andre Cisco in free agency this offseason

The soon-to-be fifth-year player logged seven interceptions and 15 pass deflections over the 2022-2023 seasons, ranking fourth and 10th among all safeties, respectively. He's clearly a ballhawk who can effectively roam centerfield and make plays – a necessity for defenses in today's NFL.
Cisco should land anywhere in the $5.25-$9 million per year range, which isn't a lot of money for a guy with his potential. Betting on previous seasons and eschewing 2024 would be the right strategy here, but either way, Cisco's down year could actually be a springboard to better things in 2025 and beyond."

The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Andre Cisco out of Syracuse in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He has been a full-time starter for the Jaguars since his second season in 2022 and has been a ball hawk for Jacksonville. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2022, he has recorded eight interceptions and 22 pass deflections in three years.
This past year was his worst year in the NFL since becoming a starter. However, the Jaguars' defense as a whole struggled mightily throughout the season. If a team signs Cisco and can get him back to playing at the level we saw in 2022 and 2023, he could end up being one of the biggest steals of free agency. He would fill the Colts' need at FS, and with him set to turn 25 ahead of the 2025 season, the Colts would have a solid young safety duo between Cisco and Nick Cross for the future.
