Who doesn't love a nice throwback jersey?
And the New England Patriots might have a new one next season. At least, that's how it seems after Drake Maye's dropped a major hint on Chris Long’s Green Light podcast.
First he referenced the red throwback jersey's that the Patriots wore twice last season.
“Those Reds are sweet, aren’t they?” he said. “We were 0-2 in them. But I thought we played pretty good in them.”
However, it seems New England could be bringing back the blue throwback jersey.
“I think they’re maybe coming out with a –- maybe, the fans are kind of wanting some blues, or some throwback blues,” Maye said “That would be sweet. The fans are wanting it, so I think it’d be pretty sick.”
Maybe this is the change the Patriots need in order to turn things around after a struggling 2023 season.
