One in particular this year is tied to the Colts, as he is the son of a former Colts first-round pick.

The Colts drafted Joseph Addai in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He spent his entire six-year career with the Colts, appearing in 78 games and starting 60. He rushed for 4,453 yards and 39 touchdowns and was a member of the team's Super Bowl championship roster in 2007.

Addai's career didn't last as long as many would have hoped, but he is one of the most underrated RBs in the franchise's history. Now, 19 years after the Colts drafted him, his son will soon be making him jump to the college level. Man, time flies, and it sure can make you feel old if you were a fan or following the Colts in any capacity during Addai's career.

Joseph's son, Jaylen Addai, is a member of the 2028 high school class. He didn't fully follow in his father's footsteps; instead of playing RB like his old man, he is actually a WR at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas. He recently got to partake in one of the nation's top high school football camps, Rivals Camp, in Dallas, Texas. He still has a few years till he will be suiting up as a college football player, but his performance at that camp is already catching the attention of some notable programs. So take note of the name now, because we might see another Addai make it to the NFL in the near future.

The Indianapolis Colts have had an active offseason, especially in terms of addressing their secondary. Their two biggest free agency offseason signings were safety Cam Bynum and cornerback Charvarius Ward. Both will be day one starters and will drastically improve one of the team's most significant weaknesses from last season. The team still needs more depth […]
