There's no doubt that both the Lions and Bills have great offenses and are capable of putting up a lot of points, but they also each have good defensive units. Detroit's defense ranks fifth in the NFL against the run, and Buffalo's defense ranks ninth against the pass.

Each defense should be well prepared, and understands that it's opposing offense is very potent. A lot of times when two elite teams face off, the game doesn't get too out of control scoring-wise.

Carolina Panthers vs. Dallas Cowboys OVER 42.5 total points (-120) – FanDuel

Over their last three games, the Panthers are averaging 22 points, while the Cowboys have averaged 27. They will easily combine for over 42 if they maintain those averages in this game, and it stands for reason that they will.

Neither the Panthers nor the Cowboys have great defensive units, ranking 31st and 25th respectively. This could be an under-the-radar, fun matchup as these teams are pretty evenly matched.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers OVER 45.5 total points (-112) – DraftKings

The Seahawks and Packers rank in the top 10 of the league in passing offense. Each team's quarterback – Geno Smith and Jordan Love – are playing at a high level and have plenty of weapons to work with.

Green Bay and Seattle are averaging a combined 25 points per game, which would get them to a total of 50 points. Both teams rank in the middle of the pack in total defense.
