The writing was on the wall for Oliver on Thursday when he missed practice for a second consecutive day and essentially confirmed on Friday when he missed practice once again. He injured his ankle against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.

Not having Oliver is going to be a big loss for the Vikings. His presence has given the Vikings an extra blocker in the running game and a blitz pickup in a high-profile way. Johnny Mundtr will likely get some extra run with C.J. Ham potentially getting more snaps as well.

Muse could end up getting activated for this game due to the injury to Oliver. Murphy could also get activated but they do have one more week to make that decision.

The Bears will be without two players on Sunday, including a starting offensive lineman.

  • OL Ryan Bates (concussion): Out
  • DB Elijah Hicks (ankle): Out
  • WR Keenan Allen (ankle): Questionable
  • OT Kiran Amegadjie (calf): Questionable
  • RB D'Andre Swift (groin): Questionable
