The 5-2 Steelers have won each of their last two games in blowout fashion. As usual, their defense has been one of the best units in the NFL, ranking third against the run and second in points allowed. Coach Mike Tomlin made the gutsy decision to switch from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson at quarterback, and it paid off – at least for the first week. Barring injury or poor performance, Wilson should remain the starer.
The 2024 season is quickly slipping away from the 2-5 Giants. They have lost three of their last four games and have the second-worst record in the NFC. Their defense has been solid, but as has been the case for the last few years, the offense has been downright bad. Quarterback Daniel Jones and coach Brian Daboll are simply not meeting expectations and are likely on the hotseat moving forward.
