HARROW ON THE HILL, England – The New England Patriots had a full house as the team took the field for their final practice ahead of their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, the location was a little bit different, as the team traveled to London to play in Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Practice was normal, but during the media-attended portion, A to Z Sports was among the reporters who quickly noticed that one interesting offensive player was missing in action.

The team got Rhamondre Stevenson back, but Javon Baker was the only player outside of OT Vederian Lowe missing. And Lowe came as no surprise since the team has already ruled him out for Week 7.

But considering Baker's slow start, it was wondered if this move intentional or not?

MassLive's Mark Daniels answered that question, reporting that Baker missed practice due to an illness, but he did travel to London with the team.

So there is still a chance he is out there in two days.

Since the Patriots' Thursday Night football matchup against the New York Jets in September, Baker has been a healthy scratch for the past three weeks. He was also a healthy scratch in Week 1.

So basically, he's only been active for two games this season, but hasn't had a single catch.

"Motivates me a lot," Baker told A to Z Sports back in September about being forced to miss the game.

The rookie receiver had a lot of hype surrounding him entering the season, and much of that was based on comments he made after being drafted.

After getting picked, Baker went on Instagram Live, reacting to 17 wide receivers getting drafted before him.

“Took too (expletive) long,” Baker said. “Y’all finna pay.”

Baker then spoke with reporters following the selection and dropped quite the quote.

“Come to the stadium and bring y’all popcorn,” Baker said during a video conference. “That’s all I can tell y’all. Bring your popcorn. I make people in wheelchairs stand up."

And throughout training camp, he was making some big plays, one of which included a 60 yard catch from Joe Milton III back in July.

But since the regular season started, he's nowhere to be found.

Let's see if he can turn his rookie season around.
