The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have released their inactive players lists ahead of their Week 7 Super Bowl LVIII rematch on Sunday afternoon.
Both teams are dealing with some absences and injuries at key positions. For the Chiefs, they'll be missing a starter on defense on top of the several offensive players on injured reserve. The 49ers, on the other hand, are dealing with wide receiver, kicker, and cornerback injuries.
Check out the full list of inactive players for each team down below:
Chiefs inactive players:
- OT Ethan Driskell
- OL CJ Hanson
- DE Mike Danna
- DT Marlon Tuipulotu
- RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
49ers inactive players:
- WR Jauan Jennings
- K Jake Moody
- QB Joshua Dobbs
- LB Jalen Graham
- TE Brayden Willis
- CB Darrell Luter Jr.
- OL Ben Bartch
Observations:
After participating in full all week at practice, the Chiefs won't see RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire return this week. Yes, he's still working his way back after starting the season on the Non-Football Illness list. Andy Reid suggested earlier in the week that he didn't know if he'd be available for Week 7.
Darrell Luter Jr., who was listed with a questionable game status designation, is the lone inactive player of the 49ers' three players listed as questionable for Week 7.
49ers WR Ricky Pearsall will make his NFL debut after he was shot in the chest ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
