With how unpredictable the NFL is from week-to-week, betting on over-under point totals can be tricky. Sit back and let us do the research for you as we determine the best over-under bets for Week 10.

*Odds subject to change

Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos UNDER 42 total points – DraftKings

The strength of both of these teams are their defenses. The Chiefs' offense has come on a bit as of late, but Denver ranks in the top 10 of the NFL against both the pass and run, as well as total points allowed.

Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph has a track record of making life difficult for quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City's offense. Denver's offense is still a work in progress, and the Chiefs rank in the top five in total defense, points allowed and run defense.

Minnesota Vikings-Jacksonville Jaguars OVER 44 total points – BetMGM

The Vikings have a nicely balanced offense. They rank in the top half of the NFL in passing, points scored and total offense. Quarterback Sam Darnold is having a breakout year and has a lot of good weapons to work with, such as receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, as well as tight end T.J. Hockenson – who just returned from injury last week.

Minnesota shouldn't have a problem putting up points against the 31st ranked Jacksonville defense. Despite their struggles as a team the Jaguars have been solid offensively, especially as of late, averaging 28 points over their last five games. The Vikings rank 29th against the pass, so the Jags should have plenty of opportunities to score.

Detroit Lions-Houston Texans UNDER 49 total points – Caesars Sportsbook

The Lions have been high flying on offense this season, but the Texans have the No. 2 overall ranked defense in the NFL this season. Houston's defense ranks third against the pass and fourth in sacks with 29. It won't completely shut the Lions down on offense, but should reel them in a bit.

As for the Texans' offense, it has been decimated by injuries, particularly at wide receiver. Stefon Diggs is out for the season with a torn ACL and Nico Collins still isn't ready to return from his hamstring injury. Houston could only muster 13 points against the New York Jets last week, and quarterback C.J. Stroud has thrown just one touchdown during his last three games.
