Colts Week 10 Player of the Week: Adonai Mitchell

It's been a lackluster rookie season for the Colts 2024 second-round pick. But in Week 10, he was able to step into the starting lineup with Michael Pittman Jr. ruled out and stepped up in a big way.

He ended the day with six targets and caught each of them for a career-high 72 yards. Throughout his rookie season, Mitchell has struggled with drops, and, at times, his effort has been questioned. But in Week 10, he was the Colts' most consistent pass catcher and made a big impact with Pittman Jr. out.

Pair this performance with his impressive separation numbers early in the season and his amazing catch against the Minnesota Vikings last week, and there's clear reason to believe the game is slowing down for Mitchell. I think we will see him make a bigger impact down the stretch than he has so far this season. Hopefully, he can build off this performance and show the world why the Colts believed in him enough to draft him in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
