The Indianapolis Colts ended their three-game losing streak with a big win in Week 11 against the New York Jets.

Multiple players played a major part in this victory, but Anthony Richardson's performance back in the starting lineup disproved the team's belief that he isn't the team's best chance to win games. They simply don't win this football without Richardson under center.

This week's player of the week was an easy choice. After having to spend two weeks on the bench, the Colts announced they were giving the starting QB job back to Richardson. And I'd say his performance in Week 11 made them proud as well as happy to be wrong about who the team's best option to win games at the QB position is.

He ended Week 11 by completing 20 of his 30 pass attempts for 272 yards, one passing touchdown, 32 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. To make it even better, he led the offense down the field for the game-winning drive with multiple huge throws. After having to deal with so much outside noise over the past few weeks, this type of performance should get people off his back for at least one week.

The important next step is using this strong outing as a stepping stone to build off going forward. The team and Richardson both needed this type of performance in the worst way. The Colts now improve to 5-6 on the season and are set to host the red-hot Detroit Lions. And if they are going to pull off that upset, they are going to need the best version of Richardson and the Colts offense.
