The Detroit Lions have won five of their last six games and may be the hottest team in the NFL.

They sit just 1.5 games out of a playoff spot and look ready to make real noise down the stretch.

This matchup with the Jets may be equally as difficult. The Jets have been one of the surprise teams in the NFL and have played almost every opponent close. They have a suffocating defense, which will be an excellent test for this elite Lions offense.

Whoever wins the battle of Lions offense vs. Jets defense will most likely end up winning this game.

Offensively, the Jets will need Garrett Wilson to have a big day. He is starting to look like the rookie of the year front-runner, and the Jets will need him to continue his elite play this Sunday.

I think the Jet's defense will be too much for the Lions when it's all said and done.
