There have been some really bad calls during the 2023 NFL season, but one that came during the Patriots-Commanders game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday might have been the worst. 

And it went against Washington. 

In the third quarter, Commanders defensive end K.J. Henry broke his tackle and rushed straight toward Mac Jones, bringing him down from behind. 

In what would normally be a textbook sack, Henry tackled him, immediately rolling off the quarterback and began celebrating. 

But that's when the flag came in and it was ruled roughing the passer, providing the Patriots with a first down.
