Things continued to go from bad to worse during the New England Patriots loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and part of that might mean they are without Matthew Judon for a bit.

Judon went down in the fourth quarter and remained there until trainers came over to check on him. He got up and headed straight for the blue medical tent holding his right arm and headed to the locker room soon after.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Judon is "being evaluated for a biceps tendon injury." The linebacker is set to get an MRI to "determine the severity," but is expected to miss some time.

Deatrich Wise also spoke about what it's like losing Judon, saying that it is "devastating." And he seemed to imply that one of the star players could miss some time.

He was in good spirits and we'll be with him mentally throughout this year and he'll be with us too," Wise said and added that they "don't know" about the severity of Judon's injury.

Judon joined the Patriots in 2021 after five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. And he received a contract adjustment during the preseason, earning $14 million fully guaranteed with no additional years added.

So far this season, Judon has recorded nine solo tackles (12 total) in three games with four sacks.

Patriots will be waiting to see if they are without their star linebacker for long.
