The Buffalo Bills' victory against the Miami Dolphins was short-lived as late in the contest, All-Pro CB Tre'Davious White needed to be carted off the field.

I previously wrote about his injury and how crushing it could potentially be for the team. Even more, Sean McDermott opened up to the media immediately after the game with a heartbreaking update filled with emotion on the potential loss of White.

Just hours after, Jeff Darlington provided an update that White was believed to have torn his Achilles, which would end his season. He clarified that the team was waiting on an MRI to confirm, but the Bills Mafia had already feared the worst.

Now, it's been officially determined after his MRI that Tre White would be lost for the season. A crushing blow to a defense that has been firing on all cylinders. The team is immediately down an All-Pro CB with plenty of football left in the regular season.

White's injury opens the door for Kaiir Elam to step in and shine. The former first-rounder has been a healthy scratch in every game this season but will now be forced to step up in a big way.

With Von Miller about to return, the Bills Mafia are always going to be wondering what this defense would've looked like with a healthy White and Miller on the same side of the football.

This doesn't end the Bills' Super Bowl hopes, and it doesn't immediately put them in last in the division, the team is still very good at football with plenty of playmakers on both sides of the football.

White had previously worked his tail off to rehab from an ACL injury which ended his season, he will once again be in rehab mode as he looks to get back on the field and contribute next season.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for the talented CB and a staple in the community. Not only is Tre White dominant on the football field but he's also beloved across the Bills Mafia. Put plainly, this one hurts.
