The New England Patriots released their inactive list ahead of a Sunday night matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

They will be without a key defender, with one rookie having to step up in his absense.

However, one veteran receiver returns to the lineup after missing the season opener, but a rookie will be sidelined for the primetime game.

Here is the Patriots inactive list:

While the Patriots lose Trent Brown and Sidy Sow due to concussions, Michael Onwenu and Cole Strange will be back on the offensive line and provided much needed help.

On the defensive side, without Jonathan Jones, it will be Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones, and Myles Bryant who will be tasked with stopping the star duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Here is the Dolphins inactive list:

The Patriots and Dolphins kick off at 8:20 pm ET.
