Former Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday morning, TMZ reports. They added that he still remains behind bars at Clark County Detention Center in Nevada.
The Athletic's Tashan Reed added that "Jones was arrested Friday morning for a charge listed as "VIOL DOM VIOLENCE TPO," which is a violation of a temporary protection order. His bail has been set at $15,000 and a court date has been set for Dec. 4, 2023."
A current member of the Las Vegas Raiders, Jones has not played a game this season due to drama on both sides. Last week the team placed him on the NFI list.
And the defensive end has voiced his displeasure on social media. He has had a series of bizarre posts over the last few days, and on Thursday a llive-streamed video surfaced of him breaking down in tears.
Following his arrest, the Las Vegas Raiders organization released a statement.
