Gillette Stadium had a very special guest in attendance during Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, this individual was in the opposing team's colors.

Taylor Swift arrived in Foxborough to cheer on Travis Kelce and Kansas City. Yet, despite her Chiefs sweatshirt, the entire stadium went wild, cheering for the pop star.

While recapping the game on his podcast, New Heights, with his brother Jason, Travis Kelce gave a special shoutout to the Patriots organization and the fans for their warm welcome.

"I will say this, they showed Taylor at the game and you don't see an entire home team fanbase go insane for somebody wearing the opposite team's colors," Kelce said. "Just shows you how amazing that girl is."

Swift was showed on the video board sitting beside her father, Scott Swift, and Brittney Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

And she made sure to blow a kiss to the fans while waving to everyone.

"They went absolutely insane when they showed Taylor on the screen," Kelce said. "There might have been a few Brads and Chads that were booing but for the most everybody was f***ing screaming their tails off."

His reference to the "Brads, and Chads,” came from the interview Swift did after winning TIME Person of the Year, explaining that she's there to support her partner and not worried about upsetting others.

“I’m just there to support Travis," Swift told TIME earlier this month. "I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

While the last few games she attended haven't gone in the Chiefs favor, Kansas City finally got back in the win column, defeating the Patriots 27-17.

And as a competitor, the win was what Kelce was focused on. But he was very aware that Swift was in attendance.

"I was trying to keep it cool. I was like, 'Don't show your cards. Don't show your cards.' It was fun, man," Kelce said. "Shout out to the Patriots, New England.

Gillette Stadium has always held a special place in Swift's heart, having been the first NFL stadium the singer ever headlined back in 2010 for her Fearless Tour.

"Taylor's on record saying that that stadium is one of the funnest that she's played at," Kelce said. "For them to show her, just showing her some love. So shout out to the Patriots for doing that."
