The Baltimore Ravens had plenty of motivation heading into their road matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

For one, the 49ers were listed as the betting favorite to secure a win over the Ravens. It was just the second time all season that the Ravens entered a game as an underdog, with the previous time coming back in Week 2 when the Cincinnati Bengals were penciled in as a -3.5 favorite in their home game against the current AFC North leaders. Lamar Jackson and company ended up clinching a 27-24 win in the divisional contest.

Many predicted that the 49ers would notch a convincing win over the Ravens on "Monday Night Football," which caught the attention of Patrick Queen.

"Yeah, they tried to write us off," Queen told Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. "We all felt a certain way about that. You don’t want to give us a chance to play the game. You try to write us off. I think everybody hates the Ravens. We don’t know why. We just go out there and play football.

"We don’t play the football that everybody wants to see, though."

The football that the Ravens are playing has them sitting atop the AFC standings with a 12-3 record, which is all that matters at the end of the day.

The Ravens will next be in action in Week 17 when they will host the Miami Dolphins. A win for the Ravens in this contest would clinch them both the AFC North and the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
