Many key players are set to hit free agency at the end of the 2023 season.

With the team already eliminated from the playoffs, Sunday will be the final game of the season. And for some of these guys, it could be their final time suiting up for the New England Patriots.

Over the past few weeks, A to Z Sports spoke exclusively with many of the top free agents to see where their head is at as they are set to enter this uncertain time. Here is what they said:

OT Trent Brown

"We already had that opportunity," Brown said. "We have had plenty of opportunities to get that done. I mean, I'm not opposed to it, but we are at the end of the season…

"… It'd be kind of like, I feel like I'd be kind of doing myself a disservice to not see what other opportunities are out there, just at this point."

OL Mike Onwenu

"Its really where I built myself, turning into the person that I am," Onwenu said. "They took the opportunity on me, drafting me in the sixth round. So I always like to, not necessarily prove doubters wrong, but I like to prove myself right. I always like to put my best foot forward and just prove that I’m supposed to be here and I am here.

LB Mack Wilson

"I’ve just been blessed to be able to be coached by him for two years. Learned a lot from him. And hopefully this is not the last time I’m being coached by him.”

Jalen Mills

"I think I was able to put it on tape to show people that I'm a starting safety in this league," Mills told A to Z Sports exclusively. "I feel like there is a lot of opportunities out there with the teams that need safeties."

WR Kendrick Bourne

"@Popshotta3 miss ya dog! Make the @Patriots bring me back!," Bourne commented on Instagram.

CB Myles Bryant

“Yeah, I mean, I love it here," he said. "I love the coaching staff, especially the locker room, and everything about being a Patriot. And I feel like every time you step into the building, you got to try to mirror the greatness – just all the guys that have come before me. So I for sure like having to try to uphold the standard here.”

S Kyle Dugger

“Well, I’ve kind of told my agent to just let me focus on football," he explained. "So any talks that there will be, it’s between them mainly. And I’m just kind of able to focus on the game.”

LB Josh Uche

“I just want to be somewhere where I’m wanted," Uche said. "I mean, at the end of the day, somewhere where (I’m) appreciated and all those good things. But at the end of the day, I just want to win, I want to contribute, I want to do whatever it takes to help my team win. And wherever that may be, whether it be here, there, anywhere, I just want to play ball.”

LB Anfernee Jennings

"It's a lot of different things that probably go into it. But I love being a Patriots. I love being here. It's something I really haven't thought a lot about right now. Just trying to control what I can control and be where my feet (are) at."
