It's the second time these two teams will have squared off this year, and in just a three-week span. That creates a unique challenge for the both the Broncos and Chiefs, who will look to add some new wrinkles and correct some issues from the matchup earlier in the year.

The practice week ended just as it began despite a brief hiccup that saw Jerick McKinnon and Harrison Butker miss practice on Thursday. Only one player has been ruled out and another player looks to make a remarkably quick return from injury in Week 8.

Latest on Justyn Ross following arrest

Chiefs second-year WR Justyn Ross had a run-in with the law that saw him arrested and arraigned ahead of the practice week. Chiefs HC Andy Reid confirmed on Wednesday that Ross remains with the team and would practice all week, but the NFL had other plans. They placed Ross on the Commissioner's Exempt List on Friday.
