Mac Jones has a chip on his shoulder heading into the Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Coming off a devastating and somewhat embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week, the New England Patriots are looking to get their second win of the season and get back on track.

Derek Carr and the Saints are the team that stands in their way this week.

3 Patriots players to watch

  • J.C. Jackson

Making his return, J.C. Jackson is expected to take the field on Sunday with the team for his first game back after being traded. The Patriots are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position with Christian Gonzalez and Marcus Jones on injured reserve, and Mr. INT seemed to be the best fit. He will play alongside Myles Bryant.

  • Mac Jones

If there was ever a week that Mac Jones needs to prove himself, this would be the one. The Patriots quarterback had one of his worst showings last week against the Cowboys, and there are many who doubt that he has what it takes. Will this be his comeback game?

  • Keion White

With Matthew Judon out, there is one player who is expected to step up in his absense and that is rookie Keion White. While no one can quite fill the shoes of Judon, linebackers coach Jerod Mayo specifically named White as a top player that has the potential to step up in light of all the injuries.
