Will Georgia win the SEC and get back into the CFP in 2024? We predict the entire Georgia regular season, which will set them up for a postseason run. Let's go game-by-game.

Georgia Bulldogs 2024 Schedule Prediction

Week 1: vs. Clemson

We have an immediate showdown between Dabo Swinney and Smart in Week 1, and this one will have a ton of tension. However, Clemson isn't overly good across the board. While it's possible QB Cade Klubnik will blossom into a star this season, it's not happening against this loaded Georgia defense.

I expect Georgia to win comfortably as they pull away in the second half.

Prediction: Win

Week 2: vs. Tennessee Tech

There's not a lot to be said here. We're looking at a 63-0 type game.

Prediction: Win

Week 3: at Kentucky

This Kentucky team is dangerous, as they have serious speed across its playmaker units. Between Dane Key and Barion Brown, the Wildcats have what it takes on offense to pull an upset. Nose tackle Deone Walker will also be a top-15 pick in the draft, so don't undervalue them too much.

That said, Georgia is much too talented and physical to get caught with their pants down. This will be a competitive win.

Prediction: Win

Week 5: at Alabama

The Bulldogs shockingly dropped the SEC title game to Jalen Milroe and the Crimson Tide, ruining their bid to make the CFP. Now is the time for revenge. New Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has done well to save the team's recruiting class, but his immediate roster won't be good enough to beat Georgia.

Prediction: Win

Week 6: vs. Auburn

Hugh Freeze is cooking up some recruiting magic for next year, but that doesn't help right now. Auburn will get steamrolled by Georgia's run game, and they don't have nearly enough offensive playmaking to stay with the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Win

Week 7: vs. Mississippi State

Jeff Lebby brought in a bunch of transfers, which never bodes especially well for a program to punch up against better teams. Georgia will handle business in this one. It'll be most interesting to see whether the Bulldogs can completely shut Mississippi State out than if this is a close game.

Prediction: Win

Week 8: at Texas

Alright, finally a big game where Georgia could actually lose. Texas is good but they lost a ton of trench talent to the 2024 NFL Draft. That will swing this into Georgia's favor, as Quinn Ewers won't get comfortable in the pocket all afternoon.

I'd expect a close betting line and for the outcome to be within a touchdown. However, Georgia will move the ball with relative ease since this Texas team is nowhere near as physical as they were last season.

Prediction: Win

Week 10: at Florida

The Florida Gators don't have the worst roster, and bringing back QB Graham Mertz will bring some credence to them not being a total disaster this season. However, this is still Billy Napier in charge, so Florida will struggle to compete for a bowl game. Georgia will embarrass Florida on the road, as usual.

Prediction: Win

Week 11: at Ole Miss

Alright, let's have some fun. Ole Miss has the athleticism and coaching staff to compete with Georgia. For as good as the Bulldogs are, this team doesn't quite have the elite defense that has carried them to titles in recent years. Ole Miss will pull out some magic at home, and the Bulldogs lose their first game of the season.

Prediction: Loss

Week 12: vs. Tennessee

Losing will help Georgia rebound for Tennessee, which will be a difficult game. If Nico Iamaleava is who everyone expects, the Vols will get to 10 wins this fall. Alas, I still think the big brother syndrome wins out, and Georgia powers through.

Prediction: Win

Week 13: vs. UMass

Here's an easy win as Georgia prepares for the SEC title game.

Prediction: Win

Week 14: vs. Georgia Tech

There's no shade on the Yellow Jackets here, but this will be a comfortable win in Athens as everyone recovers from Thanksgiving.

Prediction: Win

Season Prediction: 12-1, SEC Champion
