You know the 2024 season is just around the corner when the initial ratings for each player in the upcoming EA Sports Madden 25 video game are out.
And Indianapolis Colts LB Zaire Franklin seems not to be a fan of his rating.
Franklin received an 82 overall rating, which has him tied as the ninth-highest rated Colts player with LT Bernhard Raimann. It also makes him tied for the 14th-best LB in the NFL with Ernest Jones of the Los Angeles Rams and Ja'Whaun Bentley of the New England Patriots.
While he was the ninth-highest rated Colts player in Madden, he was the only member of the team to be included on this year's NFL Top 100 players list, voted on by NFL players. Franklin made his debut on the list at number 100.
While Frankin likely has a bone to pick with Madden over his own rating, he could honestly want to discuss multiple of the Colts' top players' ratings coming in much lower than they deserve. Star RB Jonathan Tayor's 87 overall rating came in outside of the NFL's top 10 RBs in the game. The Colts also didn't have a single player receive a 90 overall or better in the game, with the team's highest-rated player being Quenton Nelson, who received an 89 overall.
