The Indianapolis Colts have had multiple defensive linemen leave practice with injuries to start training camp, including Samson Ebukam heading to the IR.
They have now added some help in the room while multiple players nurse injuries in UFL standout Levi Bell.
Bell started his college career in 2020 with Louisiana Tech, where he spent his first two collegiate seasons before transferring to Texas State in 2022. At Louisiana Tech, he appeared in 14 games and recorded 27 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 7.5 tackles for loss.
His lone season at Texas State was more productive than both of his first two seasons combined. He appeared in 12 games and recorded 66 total tackles, 5.0 sacks, and 13.5 tackles for loss.
After college, Bell signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and also spent time on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. His most recent playing experience came in 2023 with the Michigan Panthers of the league now called the UFL. There, he appeared in six games and made four starts, recording 16 tackles and four sacks.
Bell's agent, Nathan Shackelford, confirmed to me and A to Z Sports that Bell's deal with the Colts is a one-year minimum-level contract.

But before they turned in that card, they had their eyes on moving into the top 10. The newest episode of this year's offseason Hard Knocks series, which follows the New York Giants, showed […]
